TRAVEL GRANTS AND REGISTRATION FEES FOR STUDENTS

Grants to pay student registration fees will be offered by the Acoustical Society of China and the Acoustical Society of America (ASA). Applicants should visit the websites of these organizations for information. The ASA will provide limited funds to some students to partially defray transportation expenses to the conference. To apply for a subsidy, submit a proposal by e-mail to be received by 9 April 2012 to: Jolene Ehl, jehl@aip.org. The proposal should include your status as a student, your institution; whether you have submitted an abstract; if you are a member of ASA; method of travel; and approximate cost of transportation.

STUDENT RECEPTION

A reception for students will be held on Monday, 14 May 2012. There is no fee to attend this reception. A reception ticket will be issued to all registered students.
